SATs Results 2015

At the end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2) and at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) your child will sit their SATs assessment. At KS1 this is a very informal process, at the end of KS2 this is slightly more formal in preparation for secondary school. There will be an opportunity for you to attend parent workshops/meetings where this process is discussed. SATs assessment is compulsory and is a national assessment. The children are given a level in Speaking and Listening, Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Science.

At the end of KS1 the expected level is a 2b.

At the end of KS2 the expected level is a 4b.

Levels are discussed and explained to parents formally at parents evenings and informally on a day-to-day basis.

At Goodnestone CoE Primary School we assess and track your child’s progress and attainment (the level they are at) on a regular basis. This is to ensure your child is making good progress and fulfilling their full potential.
